Overview: Sentara Health is seeking talented Senior Process Improvement Professionals to join our Ambulatory Operations team at Sentara Park 1330 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Sign-On Bonus Available: Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000. Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and optimizing operational processes within the organization to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity. Uses data-driven methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement tools to streamline workflows, reduce waste, improve overall performance, and develop strategies for improvement. Mentors other PI Engineers, provides training and guidance. Leads cross-functional teams to design and implement process enhancements, monitor outcomes, and ensure the sustainability of improvements. Work closely with department leaders and cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate process improvement findings, outcomes, and recommendations to senior management. Education - Bachelor's Degree required. Industrial Engineering preferred.
Certification/Licensure - Lean Six Sigma, Rapid Improvement, Reengineering, Process Redesign, CQI, Business Development, Benchmarking, Productivity Improvements , Technology Breakthroughs, Prosci preferred.
Experience - 5 years of experience required in process improvement engineering and mapping. Experience with workflow redesign, labor management and productivity, change management, Vizient benchmarking, project management, and data analysis preferred.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $105,185.60 - $167,003.20 annually.
Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
